What is stored in your browser when you visit kanon.ge, what is loaded only with your consent, and how to change that decision.

In short
Analytics is loaded only with your consent. Until you press "Accept" in the notice at the bottom of the page, the site sets no cookies at all and tells nobody about your visit.
If you consent, Yandex Metrica is loaded: it shows us which material people read and where on a page they lose interest. You can change the decision at any time - the button is below.
What is stored without your consent
Two technical entries in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to the server and do not identify you.

Both entries are created by your own action and are strictly necessary: under data protection law such entries do not require separate consent.
What is added after consent
Yandex Metrica, counter no. 112790978. It sets the following cookies on the kanon.ge domain:

The lifetimes are set by Yandex and may be changed without our involvement.
What exactly is collected
- anonymised details of the visit: pages viewed, referral source, language, screen resolution, approximate city from the IP address;
- session recording (Webvisor): cursor movement, scrolling and clicks - showing how a person reads the page;
- a click map and scroll depth.
An enquiry sent through the form goes to our server in a separate request and is not passed to Metrica. If you do not want your actions on the page recorded, press "Decline" - nothing will be recorded.
Who receives the data
It is collected and stored by Yandex, and the requests go to mc.yandex.ru servers in Russia. Besides producing statistics for us, Yandex processes this data for its own purposes, including advertising, on the terms of its user agreement. If that is unacceptable to you, press "Decline": then not a single request to Yandex will be made from this site.
How to change your decision
The button brings back the notice at the bottom of the page so you can answer again.
If you withdraw consent, Metrica's cookies are deleted immediately. Data collected before the withdrawal stays with Yandex - its deletion is requested from them.
How to check this
Do not take our word for it - check. Open your browser's developer tools, section Application → Storage. Until consent is given, the Cookies list for kanon.ge will be empty, and in Local Storage you will see the entries named above.
How to delete it
Clear the site data in your browser settings, or delete the entries by hand in the same developer tools section. The site will keep working: the language will follow your browser settings and the analytics question will appear again.
External services
Images, styles, fonts and scripts are loaded from our own server. There are no third-party services on these pages - nothing that would receive your IP address before you have given consent. You can check this in the same developer tools: the network tab will show no requests to outside domains.
No social network widgets, maps or live chats are used on the site.
