Why these pieces exist
They do not replace a consultation and do not try to. Their purpose is simpler: so that you arrive at the meeting understanding what the procedure consists of, and ask questions of substance instead of paying to learn the basics.
That is why the texts carry no promises of outcomes and no specific sums or deadlines: those are set by the state, they change, and they have to be checked on the date of the enquiry. What they do carry is lists of what to gather in advance, and a look at where time is most often lost.
This material is for reference and prepared as a working basis. Assessing a particular situation takes a consultation - the circumstances change the answer.
